A Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon tasting education experience is a journey into the rich history, craftsmanship, and unique characteristics of one of America’s most storied spirits. Guided by an expert whiskey educator, who happens to be a KWS parent, the event begins with an introduction to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and what it means to earn the "Bottled-in-Bond" label. Then the tasting kicks off with a close look at the bourbon’s rich color and viscosity, hinting at its age and barrel influence. Next, you’ll nose the spirit, picking up enticing aromas of caramel, vanilla, oak, spice, and fruit. The highlight? A side-by-side tasting of three exceptional Bottled-in-Bond bourbons from different distilleries, showcasing their unique characteristics. To round out the experience, enjoy a selection of charcuterie and snacks perfectly paired with the bourbon.
